Action Gallery was founded in October 2007
in the south of Tel Aviv and aims on the rapidly expanding urban art scene
in Israel & the Middle East.
The gallery is located next to the Casco Urban Lab in the heart of the Florentin
neighborhood, where many artists live and work.
Legal Action Gallery provides a stage for upcoming talent and offers artists
the opportunity to develop their artistic career.
The gallery also provides the exhibitions for the Casco Urban Lab and in the
shared courtyard, where they have created a lively project space.
Legal action will initiate monthly events with representative street artists
in the project space accompanied by various events.
Due to the international roots of the curators, the gallery has an international
character with its clientele all around the world.
Legal
Action features top rank Israeli street artists as well as International artists,
such as
Ame72, Klone, Know Hope, Zero Cents, Jove, Mi-Shee,
iamunknown,
plus others.
Joy van Erven is a Dutch mixed media artist
who has been working with several methods over the last 11 years, basically
in Holland and lately in Israel where he has been working and living for the
last two years.
Beside his artistic solo career, he was involved in many collaborations and
initiatives with crossovers between visual arts, architecture and urbanism.
Together with two partners in Holland, he initiated a foundation for art in
public space and has curated many exhibitions and urban art projects.
